Harbour Light Alliance Church Story

February 6, 1994 was the first church service at Harbour Light Alliance Church!  HLAC began as a sister church to Grand Centre Alliance Church.  The first pastor was Rev. Kevin Hougan seen here with Rev. Arnold Downey (District Superintendent, left) and Mr. Ted Brown (Elder, center).

In Mayof  2013, ground was broken and a new auditorium facility was added completing the work in August of 2014.

Christian & Missionary Alliance Story

The Christian and Missionary Alliance grew out of the vision of Rev. Albert Benjamin Simpson, who was ordained in the Presbyterian Church in 1865 and became the pastor in one of Canada’s most prestigious pulpits. During the next number of years the Holy Spirit revolutionized his life, making him more passionate for the souls of the poor and neglected people at home and around the world.
